"Pearl District" Street Signs
07/24/2007 STREET SIGN CAPS ARE FINALLY HERE! After several years of hard work, the PDBA is proud to announce that Pearl District street sign caps are finally being installed throughout the neighborhood. The Pearl-distinguishing signs are similar to those you would find in The Alphabet District, Historic Irvington and many other neighborhoods around Portland. -743025.jpg)
Many of the signs in the North end of the district have already been installed. The remaining signs should be in place within a couple of weeks. Special thanks to PDBA Board Members Sue Miller (HSP's VP of Project Development) and Reuel Fish for taking this project to completion. The sign cap installation project was made possible by major financial contributions from the Pearl District Business Association and Umpqua Bank. The project was also funded by a contribution from the Pearl District Neighborhood Association and a grant from the Alliance of Portland Business Neighborhoods.
